CellularTracking ("we", "us") provides a GPS tracking app and website for tracking devices you own or are authorized to track. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account data: your email address, used to sign in.
- Precise location: when you tap "Start tracking" and grant permission, the app collects this device's GPS coordinates, along with speed, heading, accuracy, and timestamp, and stores them in your account so the device appears on your fleet map.
- Device info: a randomly generated device identifier and platform (Android/iOS) to distinguish devices in your fleet. We do not collect phone numbers, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers.
Background location
With CellularTracking Pro, and only after you enable it and grant "Allow all the time" permission, the app collects location in the background so a device stays visible on your map even when the app is closed. A persistent notification is shown whenever background tracking is active, and you can stop tracking at any time from the app or your device settings.
How we use it
- To show your devices' live location and route history on your map.
- To trigger geofence alerts you configure.
- To operate your account and subscription.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share location data with third parties for their own purposes.
Service providers
- Supabase — hosts your account and location data (encrypted in transit; access restricted to your account by row-level security).
- RevenueCat & Google Play — process subscriptions. We never receive your full card details.
Data retention
Location history is retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. You can delete a device (and its history) at any time, or delete your account by contacting us — this removes all your data.
Your rights
You may access, export, or delete your data at any time. For requests, email privacy@cellulartracking.com.
Responsible use
CellularTracking is intended for tracking devices you own or have explicit permission to track. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including obtaining consent where required.
